HRH The Princess Royal Visited The Good Loaf who were marking their tenth anniversary

Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal visited The Good Loaf Bakery in Northampton on Wednesday 29th October to recognise their remarkable work in supporting vulnerable women to break the cycle of offending, unemployment and poverty.

The Good Loaf, a social enterprise based in the heart of Northampton, provides opportunities for women who have faced challenging circumstances — including those affected by the criminal justice system, mental health issues, domestic abuse and or long term unemployment

The bakery helps participants gain skills, confidence and financial independence through hands-on work in its community café.

The Royal visit concluded with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque to mark the occasion of the visit.
